Our guest was Dr. Elizabeth Miller. Elizabeth Miller is recognized internationally for her expertise on Bram Stoker’s 1897 novel Dracula – its origins in folklore, literature and history, as well as its influence on the culture of the twentieth and twenty-first centuries. She has lectured on the subject throughout Canada (including presentations for the Royal Winnipeg Ballet, the Stratford Festival and CBC-TV’s “Opening Night”), as well as in the United States, England, Ireland, Germany, Poland and Romania. In addition to participating in several television documentaries on both sides of the Atlantic, Dr. Miller has been interviewed by major media including the BBC, ABC ("20/20"), CBC, the Guardian, U.S. News & World Report, the New York Times, the Chicago Tribune, Entertainment Weekly, the Globe & Mail, the Los Angeles Times, and the Wall Street Journal. I loved this show. Gladys Hansen a mild mannered archivist for the city and county of San Francisco by day. A sleuth putting names and faces to dead of the Earthquake. Gladys took a count of just under 400 and revised it to over 3000 dead. Her studies and investigation lead her to the knowledge that much was covered up to protect "The Paris of the Pacific" San Francisco. http://www.sfmuseum.org/ Her son Richard a photographer and former Fire Fighter with San Francisco's Fire Department found pictures and archived them. Together with Emmet D. Condon and David Fowler; Gladys and Richard have created an incredible book which gives new insight to the 1906 Earthquake. Our guest was former spokes person for U.K. Ministry of Defense UFO desk Nick Pope (1991-1994). Nick was a wonderful guest.My co host was Anthony (Spooky_uk) from England. We touched a on a lot of topics and had a really indepth interview. Nick was most forth coming with information and very open. He responded to questions from the chat room. There wasn't enough time to talk about all our questions so Nick said he would come on again. The music was Thanksgiving fare. Our guest was Actor/Author/ Screen writer Michael Patrick Boatman. Michael starred in Spin City, Hamburger Hill, Arli$$; just to mention a tiny bit of his large body of work. Michael is also a screenwriter and novelist. He sometimes writes. His short stories are included in the multi-author anthologies, Until Someone Loses an Eye, Sages and Swords and Badass Horror, and magazines such as Weird Tales, Horror Garage and Red Scream. His first collection of short stories, God Laughs When You Die, was published by Dybbuk Press on October 23, 2007. His humorous horror novel, The Revenant Road, was published by Drollerie Press in 2009 Michael was such a nice gentleman to this old girl. I met John Sabol during my fund raiser at Fort Mifflin in August 2009. I was very impressed with his thinking and ideas about investigating Historic Venues. John talked about POP a new methode of investigating. john will be speaking at The East Coast Paranormal Investigators Conference to be held at Fort Mifflin on the Delaware from 10 AM Saturday October 10th till 5 PM Sunday October 11th 2009 with all proceeds of this event to benefit the preservation, restoration, interpretation and education programs at Fort Mifflin a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Fort Mifflin on the Delaware has consistently opened it gates to support the paranormal community, and this event is our communities chance to pay back that support.

I was over the moon to have an incredible guest on this week. Dr. Barry Taff, formerly with UCLA's parapsychology lab and principal investigator of the now famous "Entity" case and The San Pedro Haunting. Dr. Taff, who holds a doctorate in psychophysiology with a minor in biomedical engineering, worked as a research associate at UCLA’s former parapsychology laboratory from 1969 through 1978. During his 36-year career, Dr. Taff has investigated more than 4,000 cases of ghosts, hauntings, poltergeists, and he has conducted extensive studies in telepathy and precognition which led to the development of the original protocols and methodologies for what was later coined "remote-viewing." He also was himself investigated as a psychic subject in 1969, the results of which, entitled "A Laboratory Investigation of Telepathy: The Study of a Psychic," were published in Behavioral Neuropsychiatry, Vol 6, Nos. 1-12, April-December 1974-March 1975.

Derwent Paranormal Official Derby Gaol Investigation

Chris and Eleanor Thompson have been actively investigating Derby Gaol as part of Derwent Paranormal Investigators for eight years. Initially, the investigations were purely technical with hundreds of hours of video and audio recordings made, but five years ago, they became members of staff at the Gaol, where they started providing the services of paranormal guides for groups wishing to carry out overnight vigils at the Gaol. Although this approach is by no means scientific, Chris and Eleanor have been startled by the similar answers obtained by different guests from all over the UK and beyond. Not only that, but they also claim to be able to identify individual spirits by the movements of the various communication devices, many of which are either basic household items or, have been designed and developed by Chris and Eleanor. Along with another member of Derwent Paranormal Investigators (Paul James), many hours of research have been carried out on the internet, local studies library's and historical books to gain further insight into the fascinating building that was Derby Gaol.
